Opinions Needed. How much should I sell my vert for? PICS ADDED
I hate to do this, but I have to sell my vert. I need a car that I can haul 3 kids. My vert is not suitable for this. This is my first car, and I love it. Is a 1991 Z28 camaro black convertible (5 speed). I have maintained this car, just like everybody on this forum. My question is how much do you guys think I can get for this car. It has a brand new Walbro 255 pump. C5 brake upgrade on all wheels. Also Earls steel braided lines. 18 inch wheels with brand new tires (265 front and 285 rear). New springs and struts (tokicos blue, and Eibach springs) I also upgraded the rear end to 4th gen with 3:73 gears. Adjustable tubular rear control arms, relocation brackets, and adjustable panhard bar. I also bought a brand new convertible top (black canvas with GLASS window) but I just got today so I still need to install it. Now for the defects, the paint is ok( not the best). The driver door needs a new hinge pin, the driver seat leather has a tear. Tach does not work. Since I upgraded the 4 gen rear Im still waiting for the brackets so the parking brake can operate. The hood cable is old, so it takes a little bit of working it to open the hood. The brake light on the spoiler does not work. Any input is appreciated, Im at work right now, so As soon as I get home Ill post some pictures. Thanks

I say about $500 but I'm feeling generous so I'll take it off your hands for $1000 lol
Whats the mileage?
Actually I've been looking for a project vert and my friend is looking for a driver with little to no work. I'd say if it is in pretty good shape mechanically you should have no problem getting $4000 -$5500 from all i've seen. I assume it has a 305tpi in it. The 5 speed does make it more desireable for some people. If it was 100% original I'd say easily $6-7k and up. I'm no expert just saying what I have seen in the last 2-3 weeks or so. I'd have to agree with 92RSvert and kelly blue book it then go from there.
One way or another its a nice looking car, sorry to hear you have to let it go
When you figure out a price let me know and I'll pass it on to my friend, he's looking for a 91-92 Vert

A little research comparing Blue Book to market prices for 3rd gen verts will show Blue Book consistantly about half as much. It's a horrible guide. Here's an example. I ran a '91 Z28 fully loaded vert with only 10,000miles on it and in excellent condition. This is what they said . . .
More Photos
Condition Value Excellent
$4,895
Good
$4,475
Fair
$3,970 Vehicle Highlights
Mileage: 10,000 Engine: V8 5.0 Liter TPI Transmission: 5 Speed Manual Drivetrain: RWD If you check out the market prices on Ebay or Auto Trader they go for closer to $10,000! I'd also put jetblast's at around $4000 -$5500, and that's for good condition.

Hell I would love to buy a couple at that rate!! I paid 12K for the 90 below with 16,000miles on it. It is in really nice shape. Not mint but a really nice driver.

I think 6k is kind of on the highend but hey it's your price. I think many will pass though until you detail it.

That car will hold three kids
Leave the wife at home. Your going to miss that car as
soon as they come to pick it up
Kids will probably appreciate it on down the line.

Man,,, I never thought about leaving the wife at home.
No more naggin on the road. One more reason that I decided to sell it was that I bougt a 67 camaro (needs work). So the "Two camaros,,,,,I dont think so" line got pretty old.
