87 and 91 Vert Rear Interior Panels
I bought an 87 T/A Convertible, 5 speed and 305 TPI off of Ebay and the interior needs some work, Will 91 rear quarter panels fit, the ones where the rear speakers go, I know the seat belts were different so Im not sure, Also are coupe and convertible seat belts the same? Thanks Also the car will be going back up for sale when I'm done if any one is interested. Probably around $6000 or so.

Yes the panels will fit. The only difference I'm aware of is they have a interior light (the same light as is used in the hatch of coupes and trunk of the 'verts. No the seat belts from a coupe are different. Yours had a slot in the lap belt near the tongue that latches that the shoulder belt clips into. The shoulder belt thnsioners are mounted to the underside of the tonneau and the shoulder belt (if used) nust be un-clipped from the lap belt for the tonneau to raise up. The later 91-92 had a completely different seat belt with an integral shoulder belt. The shoulder belt tensioner is mounted on a stalk and tucks just under the tonneau when closed. The tonneau was notched for the shoulder belts to slip through.
