Re: My new project
Thanks for posting that kmcn. That just makes her look like an even bigger nut case. The vin numbers are way off from mine, hell it's even two years newer. Besides vin and chassis numbers are verified by the State Police before a title change can take place. Obviously it didn't come back with problems or I wouldn't have done the work to it that I have.
At least it brought my thread back to the top. There may be some new members who haven't seen it yet.

Re: My new project
wow there is seriously still some nut thinking you some just happened to buy her car and started posting here... if it were true that would be crazy, but if you look at just how many of these car were made it would be one hell of a coincidence, even for a vert...

Re: My new project
i believe her, her car was probably stolen how she described, but your car is not her car, and she needs to realize that and stop bugging you

I tried being patient and sympathetic years ago when this started. I didn't doubt the story. But how do you convince someone they are wrong?

Re: My new project
I'm hoping to get on it this summer. I know it's been awhile. Unfortinately the wife has been having medical issues and not working so funds are low. With a full time job and doing paint and body work on the side, my vert time is very limited. Actually none existant. I'm almost done with body work on a 68 Firebird hopefully painting it this weekend or early next week. Got a 72 Chevelle coming in next. Oh yea and I have to get a street stock drag car built before May.
So hang in there I'm gonna get to it soon.

Re: My new project
I posted on this thread when it first started. I am local and if you ever need a hand I would love to help. I have a blue 89 iroc that needs painted and a lil nody work. If you re doing paint work on the side I d like to see what you might be able to do for me . I could start saving up some money.

Appreciate the offer for help. I'll hit you up if the need arises. As far as paint and body work goes. As long as your not too picky I can do it. I'm just starting out so for now I been doing stuff that don't need to be perfect. It takes me forever too.

Cool. Just pm me whenever you need some help. I work a odd schedule but I can swing by. I work at Alcon in Huntington.
I am far from picky. The car is going to be a street strip car. I've already eliminated the air. I am getting ready to pull whats left of the drivetrain. It's getting a bowtie headed 383/th350 and a strange s60 dana rear later. No rush here. It's currently sitting under a cover in my back yard till I get started on it. I need to find a passenger fender and header panel for the headlights. The one I have is cracked. It's got a cervinis cowl hood on it that I never got finished. I'd just like to have it all one color one day and look halfway decent from a distance.
