Opinions needed!!!
Today I was out just looking at IROC's and Z28's for sale in my area when I went to this one guys place to look at an 84 Z28. Was looking through his selection of wrecked vehicles and came across a wrecked 1990 IROC-Z convertible, white in color, red interior, all there except the front fenders , nose, and driverside ground effect at the door. The car had been wrecked and will need to go on a frame machine to be straightened. My question is has anybody dealt with this before and is it worth buying? I can purchase the car for 1500 so I really would like your opinions.

honestly if your not looking for a project car i would try craigslist but if you want a project car go for it but not for 1500 i would drop the price alot less because of what its missing.

I once owned a car that needed frame work and its expensive.. SO get a list of prices for body work and parts needed then show the guy. I say pay no more than 1k for it. And keep in mind the motor work too. Good luck dude.

Re: Opinions needed!!!
From what the guy is telling me the motor and trans were solid. The problem is the car was as he described "belly flopped". I am looking for a white vert for my wife who has finally shown an interest in a third gen. I agree on the price of no more than 1k. The interior looked brand new. I forgot to see what the mileage was, but unless the seats were redone I would say it was low mileage. I just wasn't too sure if a bent convertible was worth the aggravation so I come to you guys for advice!
