ive always wanted one of those bars that go over the back seat. and now in looking into putting on SFC's and a shock tower brace and figured now would be the time to get a sport bar as well...any suggestions on where to get it or what kind? thx

I've seen them for 4th gens, but never 3rd gens. No Idea how well they'd interchange, or even come close.
Every one in a 3rd gen that I've seen, was a home-made/custom built one.

pretty expensive too imho but the real roll bars look good in my opinion too I think S&W used to make an 8 point for our cars and I think Summit carried one as well it may have been the S&W bar though or maybe comp engineering.

Purely cosmetic & provides no structural support though. Would be too high for the shoulder straps of a harness anyways.Originally Posted by 1991ragtop

at least a 2 point welded in hoop is somewhat helpful structually.

A friend of mine put the "light bar" in his 3rd gen Camaro. Then he added a wind screen similar to this, but custom fit for his bar . . .

. . . the the difference was huge. It was way less windy in the interior, as these 3rd gens are prone to be. His girlfriend's hair didn't blow forward into her face nearly as bad.
Those screens also look way better when incorporated with a roll/light bar.
