89 Convertible Rear Fender Well Vacuum Lines
89 Convertible Rear Fender Well Vacuum Lines
There is a small plastic tube running through each of the fender wells. I broke one of the lines as they are old and brittle. I tried to trace the lines. On one end the disappear into the rear bumper. I assume the go in the trunk somewhere. On the other end the lines appear to disappear into the rear shock tower. Can anyone please tell me what these are for and where they terminate so that I can replace? Thank you All!

Could be the water drainage tubes?
Re: 89 Convertible Rear Fender Well Vacuum Lines
Never thought of that. These tubes are tiny. They look original as there are plastic clips which hold them to the inner fender well. They are almost to small to flow any water. They are about the diameter of the straw on a DW40 or brake cleaner can. Thanks for the feedback.

Don't find any on mine. I would look for an air valve under the bumper or in that area. Sounds like you have a set of old air shocks installed...
