88 convertible 5 speed
need help, have found out that my 88 iroc convertible 5 speed was owned by GM Canada for 1 year before it ended up at a dealership in Toronto.
Spoke with GM Canada about it thinking it may have been their promotional vehicle but according to them it wouldnt have been and they really didnt have any other explanation as to why GM would have had this car for 1 year perhaps an executive had it any other thoughts out there as well there is a sticker front windshield bottom drivers side `official factory vehicle GM Canada`if this means anything

Is it about 1" by 3" and blue & white? I've seen quite a few 3rd gens, both Camaros and Firebirds, with decals like that. Not sure exactly what it means, but doesn't seem to be all that rare.

About split on the coupes & t-tops. I can recall only ever seeing one vert with it.
I'd like to know how they got there on some cars myself.

could very well have been, I have done work for a few different automotive industries as well as parts manufacturers who actually do this. As well they show off vehicles in their reception area. Have seen some very interesting concept vehicles.

Just bringing this back to see if there are any other thoughts as to why GM Canada may have owned this IROC.
The dealership also owned the IROC for about 6 months before it went to a private owner.
