Hello, I'm trying to find out about the grommets that go on the 5 bow pin to latch the rear section of the top to the the lid. According to the diagram they are #14. Anyone know where I can get them or something that is usable? Thanks

it would be interesting to know where you could get any grommets that are convertible specific

 

Do you have a part number, some pics, and or dimensions? Where did you get them?

 

bought them i awhile ago for spares on my 1990 irocz converitble i buy alot of gm parts about 5 years ago and when i find other gm conver items i purchase to have a back up and also own the parts manuel and part numbers on all 1982-1992 Camaros if you want the good stuff my father says get the best and not aftermarket item nothing fits like gm parts

 

ps there about the size of a nickel part is a discontuie item

 

Well I need to save up for a top before I need these but I'll keep them in mind. Can you post a pic and a part number? Why do they discontinue items like this? People are still going to need them as long as there are third gen converts out there.

 

after 10 years they (gm) gets rid of the items and no longer suuplies them

 

must be some place that makes them or something similar that could be used
