I recently bought a 91 rs convertible, the car runs great but but little things are missing. The trunk hatch was missing the the whole pull down assembly. Does anyone have any pics so that i can see what i need and how it all goes back together. thank a lot.

 

there were 2 versions in 91, the first design was a all metal housing and 91.5 to 92 are a plastic houseing (pulldown unit)

 

the 91.5 and 92 verts did not get a power pulldown assembly.

If your car has a latch, then that is what it is suppose to have.....

I prefer just the latch.... one less thing to break on ya

I have a non power hatch latch pulled from a 92 RS Vert thats available for sale

 

I welded up my power down hatch assembly because my pulldown motor broke when my car was broken into. Doesnt need a pulldown motor with a vert you dont have that huge ugly back window.
