Small tear on my top

I have a really small tear on my top what is the best way to take care of this repair kit or what. Thanks in advance.

Pick up pack of leather sewing needles, get some heavyduty thread the same color as your top, and sew it up...might not be 100% watertight but it should look better...good luck.

someone once told me before dont use super glue. I think it melts it or something.

Check with a local high dollar upholstery shop

If sewing it up you should have a patch cloth on the back side.

A patch very similar to tent repair kits. It will also help provide rain resistance. Some fabric stores also offer adhesive patches (like for on holes on jeans) that are tuff and come in black. If they are iron-on be sure to follow intructions. Also have someone use something on the outside to provide pressure on the roof for the iron to press against.
