Thoughts on convertible chassis bracing
Ever since I got my vert 10 yrs ago I've been thinking of new ways to brace it (besides the subframes). Almost all other convertibles (past and present) incorporate some kind of cross brace (or x brace) that traverses the trans tunnel.
Doing a search and found a helpful video of a 2011 Camaro convertible subframes and cross brace.
Doesnt look difficult at all to make something like this.
What do u think? (watch the video)

I agree. All that really needs to be done is Box the frame in. When I put mine on the rack to install the exhaust you better believe I will be welding more than just exhaust pipe! I will box in the rear and also tie it in to the front to eliminate any flexing. Im thinking about an hours time and under $50 in steel should do the trick
