Here is my new project. I sold my Red 91 RS for this rust free 89. It came with a 91 92 Z hood, a blown motor and a bad top but the interior is pretty good, plus is came with a ton of new suspension parts.

Great car, are you going back with a tpi motor? While you have it tore down you could add the tpi harness, fog lights, dual fans or taurus fan. Options are endless.

 

I do have a TPI motor that will go in it. But for now just to get it on the road a 305 tbi will be thrown in for now. I have to track down a wiring harness and a few odds and ends to make the TPI run. At first I wanted to make a 91 Z28 clone but the more I look at it, I think I will make it an IROC

 

Sweet car and I like the IROC clone idea.

 

I have the engine bay and the engine all cleaned, degreased and ready to put back in this weekend. I'll post more pics soon.
