One of the last Vert RS Heritage Camaros built ?
So i'm watching you tube videos searching 3rd gen camaros , And i come across The last 3rd gen Camaro video
And within an instant i think , Mine was built around that date.
My build date is August 20th 1992
They could'nt have made to many red vert RS Hert. in an x-tra week , Or could they . Any body know ??????????
My dad bought the car off the show room floor at Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake IL. in Jan. of 1993 .
That would be a trip if this was the last red Heritage vert RS or last one with a black top , Or last one with a automatic , Or just the last dam one with anything , And to have had it saved .
Regardless , I have been bit by the 3rd Gen. bug , I like them beter than the curent cars, Looks wise .
I will try to save and get a 92 with a 350 engine to use as a semi daily driver. The RS was insured threw hagerty , And i will insure threw the same when i transfer titles. Gonna keep her under 3000 miles a year .
Not sure what to set the replacment value at . It was at $10,000 , But i may up it a bit , After not seeing alike cars , Even threw searches on internet , Not one red vert hert. RS have i seen , I know 10 guys will post pics tonite of theres , And that would be fine .
But i'm not so sure that will happen .
And that car in the video is for sure the best built 3rd gen ever ,
It was cool to see that people built our cars and not robots .

Re: One of the last Vert RS Heritage Camaros built ?
Thanks ttop,
Last camaros vin # 170008
My camaro Vin # 168511 a dif. of 1497
They say 406 camaros and firebirds were coming off the assembly line every day.
So , How many RS heritage verts were in that last 1496 , Or convertibles period . Most of the orders at that time of the year i would think were dealer orders , If you wanted a 1992 camaro per your order , Most probally did'nt wait till last week of production . So mostly dealer orders , And how many dealers were ordering verts in sept . ?????? Maybe a few . i think that this RS is one of the last heritage RS verts made , I'll probally spend more time researching the car than i'll drive it . No not probally.
If it was the last even RS vert , That would be sweeeeeeet !!!!
A question that will probally never be able to get answered. But i would think it's one of the last 10 RS Verts built.
