Great color!
And tell us the story! I wish I knew more about my car's past.

Re: Newbie
Well i was lucky and there was a good paper trail with the car . It was originally built to be a US car which I figured out from the vin but it also had two different owners in Texas and in 06 it had some cosmetic work done ie the soft top and it was sent to a auction in Toronto Canada was bought by a Canadian resident in Ontario and it spent from 06-2012 there how ever it only ran for approxmently just over a year after the engine being rebuilt less then a 1000 miles compression was lost in bank one cyl head the owner then removed the cyl head sent it for repair before resembled owner past Away car sat until last year stored with a car collection and was put for sale a guy from Nova Scotia payed to have it shipped to Nova Scotia etc had it here for just over a month had big intentions and decided was not the project he wanted and threw a local ad it being a southern car not originally from Canada cought my attention after seeing it we brought it home on the car trailer after a few weeks of assembly and test had the car running few odds and ends for Nova Scotia safety inspection and had it on the road put approxmently 1300 miles on it last summer it ran awesome and was a blast to drive . The car came with receipt from auction papers from it crossing boarder passing smog test and names of people addresses etc after a couple google searches iv been able to see on google map of we're it was in Texas etc and also found a small amount of info on the owner in Ontario I thought it was cool to trace out the paper trail . The car has 150 000 miles on it the top was replaced and has had a trip to the paint booth before it went to auction and it has the original engine in it but has been rebuilt approx 3000 miles ago the engine has a blank throttle body plate which from my understanding was from left over vet parts how ever it had Grey valve covers we also did a dealer search and car fax report on it and it showed up no collisions etc body has original panels and no major body damage or rust
which is the big killer around our province . It continues to be a work in progress between it being stored for winter mounths and it be used on Summer weekends I plan to continue with it and try to keep it as original as budget allows biggest challenge so far has been finding parts !!!! It's like pulling teeth .ill post a couple more pics as well
