just picked this up Tuesday night..91 with fresh 383 stroker,patco performance 700r4 with 2500 stall..msd ignition,holley electric pump heddman elite headers with full duals and flowmasters... has complete new brakes all around and new suspension..new struts and shocks,new coils,and all new poly bushings front and rear,including motor and tranny mounts..

she isn't much to look at right now but will be soon as I get my t-top 85 Iroc finished..good thing pretty much everything is there..it was partially disassembled for paint that never got finished..engine bay was painted before motor was installed and motor was painted same color..(2003 GM code 39) is what the PO told me it was..
As far as I can tell at the moment the only parts missing are the license plate bracket and the license plate lamp housings that go on the taillights..and the carpet..but plan to put new in it anyways so no big loss,just less for me to haul to the dump..lol

subframe connectors would be next imo.

 

With it tore down this far and you have another car to drive this would be the right time to find a speed density harness if you wanted to go TPI or a LS harness. You could also find a disc brake posi rear (which I did) since verts are all drum. I hear they make a lightweight aluminum front impact something that would be the next thing you bolt onto the front end. Its getting to be the right time of year for our verts. I drove mine Yesterday for the first time in a month.

 

Cool man..can't wait to be able to drive this one! I was thinking about doing a tpi on it but not really sure yet..may just leave it carbed..I am currently looking for a posi unit for it..already have rear disc kit for it..
Previous owner started a color change on it to indigo blue which I will be finishing where he left off..he did the engine and engine bay before the motor went in and looks really good so not going to go through the hassle of changing it..I am considering a 2 tone paint job of some sort,just no exact plans yet..I think maybe the blue on top half of car and a medium to dark silver on the bottom with something like a red in between to break them up..just a thought at the moment..

 

Mechanically it's in the right direction but the rest looks a mess.

I had a 383, thats a torquey engine. I had problems with wheel hop but it looks like the rear torsion and arms bushings are good.

 

oh that is going to be fun!!!!! your as bad as me! I cant help buying these!!! I have four behind my shop now!!! but I pretty much stripped down the other three. I am actually thinking of mini tubing one and tweak it hard. anyway, this looks fun. I will be following it for sure!!!!

thanks guys,not much to update on her...I do have the front end bolted back on and I did pick up a goodmark cowl hood..will hopefully be getting it in primer in the next 2 weeks.

 

Well,new hood is on...going into spray booth in the next few days..got my 2k epoxy primer ready to go..

I have the same hood on mine. Dont do like I did--have someone who knows what they are doing to fit it for you. Mine could have been sooo much better. Just a little advice.

Well I found my wheel and tire combo..look pretty awesome! They are Falken wheels..19x10.5 in the rear with 285/35/19 and the fronts are 19x8.5 with 245/40/19
