Ordering new top without original one to measure
Ive got a 1992 convertible. Its in need of a new top. The top that is on it currently is no the original. The one on it currently is too small. Ive looked at the measuring diagrams from several suppliers and they all apper to reference measurement from the existing top.
Has anyone ordered a top without a top to measure from? What steps did you take to get correct one?

I think when I ordered mine several years ago I just told them mine was for a 91 Trans Am. I think they are all the same in these later years. I think 89 was the last of the ones that could go either way.

Re: Ordering new top without original one to measure
Ive got measuring info from 4 suppliers and each are telling me it could be one of three sizes. Three of the suppliers show measuring some different points so im hoping i can get close with a couple measurements and over lap the info to determine the correct size. The top that is on it now seems to fit correctly over the front header and center bow, but is too short around the rear bow radius and short from the center bow down to the rear bow.
