Last minute switch

So I actually purchased a different car than I initially meant to.

1989 IROC Vert. VIN F/Slushbox... no mods other than stereo (& nothing was cut/hacked). Bone stock. 45k miles.

New top, auto start viper alarm, tires, wheels completely refinished & cleared. Had new stereo components in it when I picked it up, but it's at the stereo shop getting it done "right" as we speak...

More pics after it's tuned & cleaned up.

I never thought I'd own a vert but now that I have one, I think I always will! Nice car.

If you suffer from buyers remorse, I'm sure someone here will help you out and take it off your hands. In the meantime, enjoy it.

Re: Last minute switch

I agree, triple black is a sweet combo. I am lucky to have 3 of them. A 87 TPI auto with 45,000 miles. A 89 TPI auto with 39,000 miles and 90 TPI auto with 16,000 miles. I was talking to 400hp88Irocconv about my 89 Black Ragtop that I have for sale. I don't blame him for buying a 5 speed ragtop. I had a 88 Black 5 speed Ragtop 5 years ago. It was a blast to drive, but you can keep them all.

Back in 1993 I wasnt a huge fan of the new body style (geo storm on steroids) so I went looking for a triple black 90 iroc or 92 25th car betting that 20 plus years later they would be one of the more sought after third gens and about 5 years ago I finally found a 92 25th that was garaged its whole life and bought it. A lady in town back then (93) had a blue 90 iroc vert and I wish I had bought it but I had to have black. I put gta lumbar seats in mine and a console with the clock in it and a 9 bolt with pbr disc brakes. 3rd gen verts look like a bullet with the top down. The line of the car is long, clean and just works.

Re: Last minute switch

A lot fewer verts and they were much more expensive. Anyone remember how much more the vert option was?
