Need some help

So these things broke off my convertible frame. Id like to know what these are for and if it effects the way the top opens and closes. Also where could i find these to replace it

Yes , they are called flip rods and they flip that bow over to help raise and lower the top.
Top down solutions makes and sells these

Yes I sell an improved version of the Flip Rods. TDS 104121, $65 for a pair, or $35 for one. The one in the foreground of the attached photo link is the OEM version which is prone to breakage. My version is shown as the pair in the background. My improved version has a ball and socket joint which replaces the bent and threaded 90 degrees of the OEM style.

Lonsal so would you recommend that I replace those when I replace my top? I purchased the top with the glass window but I still need to find someone to install it for me. I will go to your site to see what else you offer, I need the front trim and maybe a headliner.
