ConvertiblesDiscussed here are problems and solutions to convertible specific questions, including difficult to find part numbers and other convertible tech help.
Recently purchased a 87 iroc z camaro convertible. It is marketed as a 20th anniversary. It's an auto, v8, convertible.
I am confused at what i have though. I attached some photos.
Seems like my front bumper has it's own separate turn signal lights and then an empty bezel where an additional light was supposed to be? But in it's place is wire mesh.
Also, I have these walmart type vertical grills next to the iroc z sticker on both doors. I was gonna peel them off but noticed they have tabs that go into the body of the doors. Was this some type of factory add on or did some previous owner do it?
The seller of the car was an old lady that was sellin it for her sick friend so she couldn't answer my questions.
The rectangle cutouts under the headlights are for your turn signals and parking lights. The vertical vents should lead to anywhere and could probably peel off. You’ll have to get close up pics of that. Could be a really solid car

The orange strip led light act as my parking lights and turn signal.
Do you think someone changed that to make it that way? Super weird.
as you can see it's just wire mesh where the turn signal should be?
Supposedly this is a package 3 irok so I'm not sure why the turn signals are gone?
It looks like they converted the OE parking lamp into some kind of air duct. Maybe to the brakes or CAI. Needs taking a look there. Those replacement lamps are dorky. Hopefully they ddnt cut the fender to install those fake vents.
Nice solid looking vert nontheless.
