Christmas 2021, and what I did to my convertible today:
Santa brought a couple items from Hawks. Good stuff overall, especially the convertible top release. The door panel bezels need a little work to be perfect, but not too bad out of the box.
The convertible top release had been superglued before. It didn't hold, as evidenced. I saved the old parts, as the original housing is nicer in grain. May swap it over. Not sure. Convertible release took about 20 minutes to swap. The door handle trip took 1 minute to swap.
Also, the other week, cut-out the aftermarket alarm which kept announcing, "FIRE!, FIRE!, FIRE!", which wasn't true... I soldered the harness back where I cut it out.

Every used vehicle I buy, aftermarket alarm is the FIRST thing to go!
Not only do they cause problems, but upon hearing a car alarm, no-one says "A cars is being stolen, call the Police" More likely, "What PITA's alarm is going off!"
