Rear Spoiler Attachment

The rear spoiler on my '91 Trans Am Convertible was broken by a friend a while back and I need help putting it back in place, It attaches to the trunk lid via 4 standoffs that are glued to the bottom of the trunk lid. My problem is that these standoffs have angled cuts to conform to the shape of the spoiler and I cannot remember which way they are glued to the spoiler body.

Can anyone tell me which way they get mounted? With the spoiler upside down and facing forward (3rd brake light facing to the rear), will the studs on them lean towards the front or the back of the spoiler bar? I glued them incorrectly the first time and would like to know from a fellow tinkerer, which way is correct. Can anyone guide me to get this right?
