i'm starting my spoiler mod today, basically making a second-gen style spoiler. i love the one from hawks, but i am also making mine with studs inside to attach lexan to the back for a taller spoiler that i can adjust the pitch and height. any thoughts on this? thanks, pat

Should be interesting. I was thinking about doing a NASCAR type rear spoiler on one of my projects. Just not sure how it would look.

i got the driver's side end piece done last night. looks sweeeeet!!! i am going to try and get a digital camera so you all can see it. i am using fiberglass and the "new" spoiler piece is made of a product that has lexan sandwiched between two pieces of thin aluminum. it is very, very light, but stronger than just a solid piece of aluminum. if anyone is around Columbus, OH with a digi, let me know, please. thanks, pat

i see. i was thinking of just doing a sweep of fiberglass from front to back on it, but i figured i would try this first to see how it held up. looking at it, you could sit a 2" piece of pipe on it and the roll in the middle fits it.

my decklid arrived yesterday and last night i fitted in on the car, i also drilled and mounted the spoiler too, now just to slice it and add the section tonight.
