Purple wire white stripe
Hey gang on a 92 z28 asc car got a purple wire with white stripe going to the back in the main harness tucked in by the driver side rear speaker. It’s a bigger wire and it’s not hooked up has a 90 degree female spade on it in a fancy plastic cover. Thanks

Pretty sure your describing the rear defrost connection. There should be a male spade by the hatch struts.

If you don't have rear defrost, the wire isn't hooked up. Same for any other options you may not have, wiring is probably there but.not used.

Yes that’s what it is. When asc got the car it had rear defrost but when they converted it it no longer had rear defrost. Thanks guys
