honik tranny coolers and cooling mods :-)

91 vortec headed hotcammed 350 tpi here :-)

running a flowkooler water pump ,180 degree stat, and reset fan speeds in the ecm(burn my own proms )

what alternatives to we have for radiators other than griffin for max cooling? i like them i wont argue but another 500 in this thing and im gonna by a new one :-)(not yet at least)

Recent trans rebuild and vigi converter have now resulted in a tranny cooler in the already precious area for nice air to hit the radiator :-( does tend to run hoter now and take a lil longer to cool back to 180 rane when cruising...............

getting a gn fan switch for my 2nd fan(have to replace headgasket leaking oil (luckyme)) so it should be coming on in the 205-210 range now in addition to the primary fan ....at about 185-190 i have the primary set to come ......

just rambling basically lol
so gimme your opinions on making her run cooler :-)
whos got the hot ticket
later

I have no complaints about the $190 Griffen

I have a 5 speed. Were you wanting to get rid of the cooler that you have now?

Not quite a direct bolt in but was done in an afternoon. I had to mod the core support and I still have to find better rubber mounts. It's a very tight fit between the frame rails. Spaced the fan back .250" and spaced the top support up .250

It is twice as thick as the stocker.
