differences between V-6 and V-8 radiators?

differences between V-6 and V-8 radiators?

Does it make that much of a difference?is the V-8 one really any better?

Short Answers: Yes, and Yes.

I know on my 84, the V6 radiator that was originally in the car was narrower left to right and about 1/3 as thick. On the newer V6s, I also know the upper radiator hose port is on the passenger's side instead of the driver's.

Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
Besides the inlet/outlets being on the opposite (wrong) sides, they are pretty much the same but would require some 'customizing' of hoses to work.
I found a two-core rad from an 87 RWD Cutlass 2-door that had the 231 Buick V6 that will fit nicely with some swapping of the rubber mounts (due to the thicker tanks); gonna toss it in someday soon.....
