Anyone running a flow Cooler on there stock waterpump?

I know Summit sell's these for like 5 bucks or something so I got one installed it on the back of my stock waterpumps impeller and really dident notice any difference. My car always runs cool anyways unless Im in rush hour then it only goes up to 220* anyways. I thought it was cheap insurance and it was easy to install. Anyone have a different experence??

close......

I made my own version from a piece of stainless sheetmetal, cut to fit and rivetted on. It made a big difference on mine. Judging from the stock in-dash gauge, temps went from over the ½ mark down to mid-way between the ¼ and ½ marks. I'm running a 195° stat, to boot.
