air dam question

I am looking at getting an air dam on my car. Do they make a big difference in your temp? Are there any ground clearance problems? How much do they cost? Is installation easy? Where can they be purchased? Any info would be helpful.

Apparently on everyone else's cars, they make a huge difference. On my car it makes no difference in temperature; and it don't hear scraping everytime I go up driveways.

I have ground clearance problems, and that's just the way I like it. At 140+ MPH I like to keep the underside of the car out of the breeze. The ram air for cooling is just a side benefit of having REAL ground efffects:

I just put one on my car and there is a huge difference. Before my car was getting up to 240* now it stays on the mark below 220*. As far as clearance, I have about 3" at stock ride height.

Hello Vader,

Is that a custom made air dam, or is it able to be purchased somewhere?

Thanks Jason.
