Just wondering

My car has one fan... not the dual setup like most of the other people I have seen on this board.... did 87 Iroc's come with single fans as well as dual's?? Or were they all dual's???

Most 87's were single fans. That's kinda when they did the changeover.

Cool... thought it was something like that...

Ok...another question. My car was suppose to have Air Conditioning, but somewhere down the line someone removed it, even went as far as removing the heater/vent controls in the dash.

Would having air conditioning as a factory option mean you got two fans?

No air conditioning was a stand-alone option.

Cool... I don't mind that A/C has been removed anyway . The old A/C pump is still bolted to my block so someday I am going to have to remove the unwanted weight!

I asked a guy in a Pontiac dealer parts department about that he said all 1987's had single fan setups
