Secondary fan not coming on

Secondary fan not coming on

can anyone tell me, or show me a picture of where the relay is located for the secondary fan.

On the left side looking at the engine it will be above the battery sitting all by itself. It screws into the inner fender near a ground wire. Remember if stuck both primary and secondary relays ARE interchangeable. Also the blower motor relay is the same part #. You can use it for a test. Dan 1989 IROC zz-4 block, otherwise bone stock.

the reason your secondary fan does not coem on is because the factory temp for it to come on it 245 degrees! thats way to hight for me, ewhen you hook up a switch to it and turn it on early your car will run a good 20 degrees cooler

Sec fan turn on temp is 238. It is NOT way high. It is well within spec's for a pressurized system. Every car made in the last 20 or so years including one of my sportbikes runs at 195. Believe it or not the cooling system works the best when it is at full pressure and above 220 degrees.
