headers=overheating?

I have come to the conclusion that it's my non-coated Edelbrock TES that's causing my Camaro to overheat. The headers run right next to a metal coolant line that goes torwards the heater core. Also I just read an article in Car Craft that shows coated headers run 50% cooler than non coated. I think it's time to pull them off again and get them coated. Any other opinions on this matter?

my car ALWAYS ran hotter than normal when i had edelbroke headers on it. the driver's side header is only like 2" away from the block if that much at all. i checked with a laser thermometer and the driver's side of the block was always hotter than the other side....no over heating problems with the new hooker long tubes and they aren't coated either.
