damaged fan switch connector.
damaged fan switch connector.
ok i have a damaged fan switch connector on the passenger side head of my engine for the #1 fan. i need to know what the connector looks like (pic would be good) so i can put a new connector on and get my #1 fan running. if i ground the bare sensor wire it turns on just fine of course, but i dont want to use a manual switch, i'd rather get a new connector and have the system run itself.
the connector is completely gone! if someone could tell me where the 2nd fan switch is on a 89 l98 2 fan setup then i could use that one for a reference, right?

Here's a picture for ya. I know NAPA sells them for like $14, I'm pretty sure the other parts store chains do too.

Thats what mine looked like. Mine was cracked, so when I bought my new Hypertech switch, I spliced and soldered the new connector on. Works fine now.
