180 themostate and 200-185 fan switch

180 themostate and 200-185 fan switch

Im thinking about changing my stock setup for the 180 themostate and 200-185 hypertech fan switch is this a mistake on my l69 305 auto carb factory original car?

Sounds good to me, i know that setup works good on 350 tpi's with the dual fan option.

I would go with a 170* stat. You really dont want your fan coming on right after your stat opens. Give it some time to run thru the block before you start to cool it down. I went with a 170* and a 185 turn on/170 turn off switch and my car is very cool, even in Arizona. TL
