need help...
how do you replace the bolt on the intake manifold that holds the thermostat housing??? the top of mine has no threads so i can't bolt the housing back on.

take it out first, and then take it to a hardware place for them to find you another one

i feel stupid. it turns out that who ever had the car before couldn't find another 3/8x1 1/4 so they took one that was longer and cut the head off and use a nut to hold the housing on.
