Actually a "heating it up" question

OK.....every1 knows that a 90 305TBI 5speed has provisions in the radiator for the hoses of the heater core. I had to install a radiator out of a cutlass supreme (86 model about) because of an emergency situation. It cools fine..but dosent have the same provisions for the heater core as the original. My ?? is... can i just intall a T connection into my upper and lower radiator hoses and install the appropriate heater core hoses to the t connection. It would save me $150 in having to buy another radiator. Thanks everyone.....

you could just take the heater core out of the picture and bypass it.. i am sure your t-connection might work sounds like it does the same job as before..

well, thing is i want my heater core hooked back up for when it get cooler. Right now ive got two sticks stuffed in the heatercore hoses to keep anything from going in or coming out. But the reason im askin about the T connection is that im wondering if it wouldnt cause the water thats supposed to cool my car to go into the heater core. I hope im makin sense here. But if it might work i will give it a shot. By the way...which heater core hoses would i hook to the upper and lower radiator hoses? Thanks again!

Car: 91 Camaro RS Update: Sold Camaro, now own a "91" Corvette.
Engine: Corvette L98 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Just connect that heater hose to the 3/4" outlet on the water pump if your water pump has it (some years didn't have this outlet) Use a threaded pipe adapter to connect the two.
