stewart pump....300 more rpm????

I am kind of scratching my head here, any explanations????? I just installed a stewart water pump. connected everything and went out for a drive. I am getting 5300 rpm now till it shifts. whereas before the most i could pull is 5000 rpm no more. Is it possible the pump would of helped this or is it just a fluke??????? no complaints either way ill take a few more rpm any day....

I guess that maybe the engine has less load, therefore you are getting a higher RPM with the same throttle pressure, and throttle pressure (blade angle) is the primary factor in how the 700R4 determines shift points
