coolant leak

I own a 1989 iroc that has a coolant leak. I just want to verify if the leak is coming from the heater core. There is a leak coming from the back of the engine near the cat and also in the passenger side of the car. The leak inside the car is coming from the bottom of the dash, next to the center console. My question is, where excatly is the heater core? Is it located where the leak is coming from or is it on the right hand kickpanel? Or could this be a hose that is leaking?

Thanks,
Gerry

PS Any help would be appreciated.

also, if you are leaking coolant inside the car, it's most likely the heater core
