Single Fan Manual Switch
i was going to wire my fan on my 92 firebird tbi 305 with single fan today and i was wondering if it would be safe to splice into the wire that goes to the sensor and just make the switch ground it because thats how my fan is turned on and my fan isnt computer controlled or would i need to add a relay or fuse ect any help appreciated thanks

Thats how I wired mine up and it works fine. Make your splice closer to the relay end of the wire than the sensor end. That way its pretty easy to stuff the wire into the wire loom that goes into the interior of the car. Oh yeah and test it out before you go running the wire all the way, just splice in then touch it to ground and see if it works.
