new rad needed

How much of a P.I.T.A is the rad to get out of a camaro, it looks easy enough in the manual.

Any tips for instalation / fitting / bleeding?

Is it worth fitting new hoses and hoseclamps at the same time?

Engine: Corvette L98 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
On a 91 Camaro RS it is very easy. Just unbolt the electric fan, top plastic cover plate, one bolt from each radiator hold down bracket and hoses. If you have an automatic trans unbolt the two trans cooling tubes. Shouldn't take more than about 15-20 minutes to remove. Also, you might want to change the thermostat while you're at it, just two bolts and a gasket to replace.

as long as the hoses look good i wouldnt replace them.. unless you want to..

i recently changed my rad. took me about 45 min. - 1 hour.
had to get those tranny lines in straight.. so less time with out them.

top hose looked fine, bottom hose looked quite dry. after removing them, the top hose was starting to go crumbly around the thermostat housing, so i replaced them both.
