I drive my car for about two minutes from being first started and its cold then goes from 100 degrees to over 260 degrees in no time at all then if I stop it goes down to about 240 then right back up to 260. WTF??? Any ideas? Im gonna try replacing the sensor (again) and see if that helps. I am almost posative it didn't get that hot that fast. If it did I can't beleive it didn't blow. Anyways thanks alot!

 

yea right after i got my engine rebuilt, my car was doing the same thing basically, couldnt figure out why, i just replaced it with a mechanical temp gauge and everything has been fine since, it was worth the 20$ for the peace of mind...
