Installing custom air intake

I'm installing a custom ram air-like intake which has a scoop underneath the car.. a pipe will lead it into the engine, but i was wondering where i should place the end hose. thanks to anyone who replies

i had some type of custom air intake on my 88 formula 350 when i bought it, it sucked up to much dirty air from under the nose and ruined a new k&n air filter...
