Coolant leak is BACK!!!

Just a few weeks ago I got the intake manifold gasket replaced, and paid a pretty penny for it to be done. This morning, there was coolent dripping on the ground, popped open the hood, and there were puddles of coolant in the EXACT same places as before! Did they mess up the repair? I DID start the car and drive it cold for a few minutes and then turned it off....then saw the leak. Was it just leaking because it was cold? I wonder this because I just started it back up, ran it up to temp, and turned it off and there is no leak.

Well, I drove the car into town to get her washed, came back, popped the hood...no more leak. Coolant bottle is full, no leak. Craziness...

Yes, that's pretty normal. Residual coolant will drip for maybe week's to come. Also, a little known fact is that new repairs may leak somewhat until the engine is run up to temp. I lost an intake gasket rather catastrophically and it leaked after it was repaired or as I call it WEPT for a while. The amazing part was that I was running a 160 stat. After I put the 195 back in and gave her a good haul everything tightened up. I am not suprised you payed through the nose to get her fixed, it's a miserable job. I would give it 2-3 wk's, then bitch to the repair contractor.
