Smaller radiator question...

My twin turbo project has required me to ditch my current radiator and fan setup. I'm going to be needing a radiator that fits underneath the lip on the core support, and fans that are probably going to fit in front of the radiator. I'm trying to keep this as much junkyard as possible, heh stupid college student i am.

Have any of you ever switched in a radiator that fits underneath the lip and doesn't require me to use that big black plastic piece to hold it in? If so, what car would it happen to be out of?

Also, I really really don't want to spend the dough on some black magic fans, so i was also wondering if anyone knows of any cars that have a decent cfm fan that is not too thick that might fit in front of my radiator? Thanks guys.

I think a mid '90s ford taurus fan might actually work for you. It's pretty big though, but I know it flows pretty well. Hope that helps

hmm twin turbos with a smaller radiator. your gonna need all the cooling u can get. you might need to do some fabrication to the area where the rad fits cause i wouldn't really want to go smaller..
