Serpentine help

How do you guys make the serpentine setup work with out smog and ac? Ive heard that you can just remove the smog and get a smaller belt. Can you take the ac off also and get an even smaller belt? or would I need the delete pulley? Thanks in advance!!!!!

There are 3 ways to do this:

1. Get the A/C delete pulley from GM (part numbers are on this site, use search) and get the Smog pump delete pulley. It was available for cars shipped overseas only but can be purchased through gmpartsdirect.com

2. Buy A/C delete pulley and use tech article linked above to bypass smog pump.

3. Re-route belt to eliminate both pumps, type up a tech article and submit it with pictures.

Good luck!

you can elimninate the smog pump and ac compressor and re-route the belt using the the tensioner still

ask TBI305Camaro about this
