upper and lower hoses are 2 years old radiator is 1 year old, dont know about the heater core

Could be mineral deposits. If you use tap water in your radiator, it adds all kinds of minerals and metallic elements in to the system. This stuff tends to build up in deposits on the inside of the radiator.

That doesnt look like it has enough water in it anyways, too green. Did you mix a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze when you put it in?
