im doing an engine swap....305 to the lo5 orginally from a 94 chevy truck....

305 and 350 water pumps the same???? i looked up water pumps on the autozone.com website...and they all have same # 305, 350 z28, lo5 all have the same water pump...

but when i look at mine from the 305 and the one from the 350 are different looking..plus when i try to bolt the the alternator bracket...the bottom part of the pump is to big and wont let me mount the bracket correctly...

im just not trying hard to make it work or are they different??

yeah they should be, but the one on the lo5 is bigger...im having to pull the old one off the 305 and put it on the l05 until i can afford a nice pump for it
