Car running too cool?

The temps usually range from 120-145 depending on driving conditions from what I seen in the few days since getting the car. The previous owner of the car rigged the fan to always stay on. I know you can certainly run too low a temperature, but is this acceptable for an L03?

dont forget that the average gauge..specially if stock cna read 10 to 20 degrees off frome true temp... my car ran at 220 on teh gauge all the time until i slapped ina 160 stat...now i run 160 to 170 on the gauge.... but ive seen guys with the same setup run diff temps on diff gauges...

just a thought

I thought it might be off. Even the gauges in my '99 Trans Am are pretty inaccurate, only way to get an exact reading is through Autotap which unfortunantely I can't do to the Firebird.

i do know tha tif you run too cool that you would get carbon build up and not burn off all the residue left behind by oil and gas...same thing that happens using bad gas or jsut using the car for 3 mile trips..never letting it truly warm up...but other than that...i doubt your car is running too low unless youhave a noticeable performance problem or something
