Engine: 305 LO3

Transmission: 700-R4

fan switch. which size? need to know by morning

I went to O'Reilly today to get a new fan switch so my my fan doesnt have to run all the time. the guy there asked me which one 9/16 or 5/8. any of you all know which size I need? its for a 91 RS TBI 305 engine code E. he is goin to get one of each and have them there by morning, but I have no idea which one to get.

i believe it was the smaller of the two?
