wiring harness broken at the fan switch

wiring harness broken at the fan switch

title says it all, the fan switch is fine, but the connector that was on the wiring harness got ripped off somehow, can i buy the connector or do i need a new harness?

NAPA has sensor connecters... although I dunno if they have the fan switch connecter or not. You should check there or www.napaonline.com

I just broke mine yesterday. Do you just cut and splice the new one in and solder it or what?

If you want a good connection that will last a long time soldering is a must although I'm sure you could get by with just crimping it. I don't like to skimp on electrical stuff though. I tried looking that connector up online and it seems you may have to talk to NAPA or another parts store directly as I could not get any search results now. Surely they wouldn't have quit carrying them (I hope) there's thousands and thousands of cars and trucks out there with those same connectors.
