Electric Water Pump Belt Routing?
I'm considering getting an electric water pump for my new 406 (either CSI or Mezeire), but I dont know what will need to be done with my belt routing. I also dont know for sure what accessories I am going to be running, lol. I am considering ditching the AC, but I'm not sure yet.
Setup #1: AC, Alt, Power Steering
Setup #2: Alt, Power Steering
If any of you guys are running an electric water pump with a serpentine setup, PLEASE send some pics of your engnie bay, I'd really like to see, or even just hear, what this might entail. Thanks!

Meziere makes a bolt-in TPI water pump with the serpentine pulley. But, be prepared to pay a lot of cash for it. Check out Thunder Racing's site. They have it listed there. I am running a regular Meziere but I have a custom pulley setup.

Yeah, I saw that one, but there's no way I'm gonna dish out that much extra cash for a stinkin' idler pully... I'm willing to try my hand at making a custom setup if need be. Any pics or suggestions (other than the ones on your site)? I have access to a plasma cutter, and possibly a water jet facility if I can ever get my friend to call up his brother. It's lookin like I'm going to have to break out the carboard and sytrofoam to mock something up.

Actually, there's more to the price than the idler pulley. That specific Meziere pump is the heavy duty version that flows 55gph. The CSI and normal Meziere pumps only pump out about 35gph. That''s one of the biggest reasons for the price jump. I think that it is like an extra $100 or so for the heavy duty version.
Nope - I don't have anymore pictures.
