Ive flushed my radiator many many times with a hose. I let the water run through the motor with the car running until it turnes clear. The next day ill check it and it will be the same dirty color. Ive tried radiator flush and that does no good either. Anybody have any thoughts or ideas?

the dirtyness you see may or may not be sediment found at he bottom of the radiator but just gunk found in the engine. your engines cooling passages are physically "dirty". that's why you can even get the radiator flushed at a shop and the same will happen. just keep running water in it and drain it out everyday. fill it up with water drive normally and then drain it out at the end of the day. fill it up with water, keep the water running, and run the engine to normal operating tempeture with the cap off and drain **** open. rev the engine to about 4000 rpm, every once in a while see the crap and dirty water fly out. watch it the water it HOT!! do this until the the water comes clear. make sure and have the heater on while your doing this. afterwords fill up with water again and drive it around normally for a day. drain the water from the radiator and see if ithe water drains clear or clearer than before. after words if your satisfied fill with the proper A/F mixture and be on your way. this is a goiod time to replace your radiator cap. yes it's tedious but it works. at least it did for me. best of luck.

Too tedious. Get a decent chemical flush, Prestone has a good one and follow the directions. I have tried all sorts of ways of flushing out corroded cooling system parts and nothing works as well as a flushing agent when used correctly. You would be amazed at the crap it breaks loose. Might be a good time to switch over to Dexcool since it has a longer service interval. Use distilled water as opposed to tap. Water up here Y can stand a spoon in.
